I have bought items for 15 years on eBay with no problems but if you are going to buy a wig do not buy from the seller "wiggingandweaving" because what you buy and what you get are two different things. I bought a Rachel Welch wig in blonde. When I received the wig it was brown and black and the cap was defective. So I contacted customer service and the seller upon the time of arrival that the wig I ordered was not as described. The seller was aware of it and put a block on me and eBay customer service so neither of us could contact the seller other than through email through eBay. The wig was $115.00 but to return the wig it was $ 12.85. The seller wasn’t happy regarding issuing a refund but I instantly went to the post office to return it to her as she requested with the tracking and insurance on the item. I sent a message to the seller with all this information and also noted I expected to be refunded for my shipping cost and I sent my message to the seller I had eBay on the phone with me who said " if you do not get a full refund, including shipping, you will need to escalate the case. So yesterday I check my eBay account and I was only refunded for the wig not the shipping cost and the seller somehow closed the case as paid in full for which it was not therefore you could not escalate the claim and you also could not leave feedback. So bottom line here is buyers are victims to sellers and have the right to short change you and eBay honors this. What this seller does is if she sees you are wanting for a refund she automatically thinks you will leave negative feedback and pops a block on you so in that case you can’t leave your feedback and this is how she maintains a 100% feedback score. I know what she is doing because years ago I use to sell on eBay and knew many others that did as well, however I never had any problems but I do know of a few people that did handle business this way. So when you need to by a wig especially a Rachel Welch wig I would think twice before I buy from this seller. She does not back up her product; she does not honor any return shipping and insurance fees. EBay has also had issues contacting the seller as well. EBay is now also not honoring the fact that the buyers should be refunded for shipping cost on items not as described and defective. The seller has the upper hand in these types of situations. This is a dishonest seller and I did not want any of you to lose money on wigs from a seller that sends out the opposite of what you ordered and then pay extra for return shipping. Don’t be a victim buy from somewhere else. I sure learned my lesson here and this is very unethical and very poor business with the seller and eBay.
