Hi Stephinee.  I've got a 5 year old and know exactly how you feel, although mine has started teasing me and calling me professor baldie.  He thinks it's hilarious, but it does hurt a little....and he doesn't like riding on my shoulders anymore because my patches or regrowth poke it's not perfect for me.

My alopecia started when my little guy was about 2.  I made a whole bunch of life changes when he was born and i've wondered if any of them contributed to my alopecia.  One major one was getting really clean and regimented.  I wonder if removing the bacteria from my life and getting onto a regular schedule left my immune system too bored where it ended up attacking me.  Anything similar on your end?
