Okay, I stopped shedding for almost 3 weeks but I started shedding heavily recently. I thought that maybe the Rogaine I was using had helped so I started back but now I am shedding again. Maybe it is a result of when I stopped recently or starting back the Rogaine. When I first started using it I seemed to shed alot heavier. So maybe this will take a little time. My scalp and body has been also itching like crazy lately that is when I noticed the shedding coming back. I wonder if it is related. I started using Selsun Blue. I don't have dandruff but I thought it may help the itchy scalp. My husband was experiencing the itching a couple months back as well. I have never had acne before but the last several years I have had the most oily skin on my face and acne. I wonder if it could be hormonal. The hair loss and acne started about the same time. I was reading another's story and they started they were experiencing androgen sensitivity. I wonder if this could be what I am experiencing. Either way I will accept what happens. It is hard though when you get your hopes up.

How long did you stop the rogaine for? I read that with rogaine and the shots that I am currently taking, you need to taper down off of all these things. If you just stop suddenly, that could cause you to shed again. If I find where I read that, I will post it up later. You figure you really need to taper off of everything that you put into your body or on your body because it's used to it and if you stop suddenly, then your body can react to not receiving whatever you were using. I didn't think about this either until I got on these shots and wondered, what if I stop the shots and the rogaine, ect.. Then what? So I looked into it and sure enough there are others out there that have the same experience that you are having. I think the key is to not stop suddenly, but try use less every day until you stop. If that doesn't help, then maybe there's something else going on that you stopped too that might be effecting your system. I wish you blessings and hope you get better. I know how frustrating it can be.
