I saw your post about how wigs are so expensive and cheap ones don't fit very well. I didn't realise for a long time I was wearing a wig that didnt fit as well as it could until I went to a new wig specialist - she actually cut part of the stitching away, taking a row of hair out and stitched it back together. Making the cap tighter. It was scary to watch her taking my new wig apart but it was a much better fit then I have ever had. I don't recommend you do this yourself if not confident but there maybe other such sellers who are experienced enough to do it.
I'm pleased you have found this site as you will now get to know many people dealing with alopecia. I hope you never feel alone ever again!
With regards to costs for a freedom wig....depending on your needs there are charities and help for those in the USA. Please contact whoever is the nearest IA for you as they may be able to direct you to some help. :)
