Latisse for alopecia areata

Hello all,This is my first post.I have read a couple of studies about a almost 50% success rate on the use of Latisse for Alopecia Areata.I have AA on my beard and get sometimes tiny spots on the scalp.I started to lose a few lashes 3 months ago. After a month of so, since they kept on falling I went to the doctor and he suggested me to use latisse. I started 8 weeks ago and after 4,5 weeks the lashes stop to fall and last week I saw 4 or 5 tiny black ones coming out.I am wondering for those…See More

Hi,
It didn't work for me, unfortunately :( But I had no eyelashes at all, I have seen it work for others, but I know it is shown not to work for those who have no lashes. One thing that DOES work for me, is I've been getting cortisone injections in my eyebrows and my eyelashes are growing because of this!

Hi! No, the Latisse did not work for me, but I have had AU for about 30 years. It works best on people who have only AA, and have recently lost or are presently losing their eyelashes and brows.
Good luck!
