I am the mother of 2 and have been losing my hair for 2 years. I have alopecia, I have went though all the tests and they can not figure out why. I am so frusterated, I feel sad about my hair loss and do not want to leave the house. I have lost more than 1/2 of my hair and have spent so much money on wigs that do not look natural. I wish there was a group in the Cleveland Ohio area. Just looking for support.

Found confidence again with great topper from Revlon

I have lost 50 percent of my hair and have spent over 2,000 dollars on wigs and hats. I found an inexpensive topper(150) from Revlon that looks great and is so natural. It is human hair and snaps on. I do not have a lot of hair so only 2 of the snaps work. I secure it with small bobby pins underneath. I have even styled it on. You… Continue

I have just started using emu oil and really like it. I have a very dry scalp, a lot of inflammation and about 50 percent hair loss. It is really helping my scalp. I have read a lot of articles claiming it helps thicken and stimulates hair follicles. Good article Below:…

I was wondering if anyone has the Revlon Scorpio wig and what are your thoughts. It has been named one of the best wigs of the year and I am considering buying it.

Thanks Wendy

Hi Wendy, my name is Donna and I am looking for a Cleveland area support group. Have you found any?  I am new to this website.  Thanks.

Hello Wendy :) I hope you are doing well! Luckily, right now I do not wear a topper, thankfully I have had total hair regrowth :)

Hi Wendy,
They both look very natural although if you want a darker blonde then get the 14/26.

Thanks for the compliment about my wig! It's from Brenda Kay Hair Specialities. She's here in Portland, but works with people all over the country. It's a custom lace European hair wig. You can contact her at bkswildhair@comcast.net. She guarantees the wigs, and they cost less than other similar wigs, like Follea. Since I found her, I have never needed to look elsewhere.

Hi Wendy
I buy all my wigs from Galleryofwigs.com VERY cheap prices.
Kathy Tonkin is the owner, and also runs wigsupport forum.
She gives personalised service, and yes, great prices.
Feel free to email her regarding colors etc, she will happily email you 'real life' pics of wigs.
she has helped me enormously.

regards
liselle

Wendy, it sounds like you are looking for bonding adhesive for lace front wigs. I am not the best person to ask because I like to take my wigs off at night since sleeping in them makes them wear out sooner. But I googled "Wigs/bonding" and several sites came up that have adhesives and instructions on how to attach your wig. You will also want to get adhesive remover that will let you take the wig off without damaging it. Good luck!

Hi Wendy,
Nice to meet you!
I buy my wigs from www.voguewigs.com and the brand is Jon Renau. They make numerous lace front wigs with my favourite being the "Alia" in colour 24B22 or 14/26. I have just purchased the human hair one by Jon Renau which is also good.
I'm happy to help and chat any time.

Yes, I am wearing a custom European hair wig in this particular photo. In some of the others in the photos on my page, I'm wearing a synthetic Rene of Paris wig called "Brandi." I interchange them!
