How are you today?
Regarding your question about alopecia treatments that work: alopecia is unpredictable. Your hair can fall out for awhile and then spontaneously grow back, never to fall again. Or, like my case, it can progress to AU.
Unfortunately there are no viable treatments right now. However, scientists have located 8 genes responsible for alopecia, and research for a treatment that works based on these findings is underway now. I imagine that within the next five years or so, there will be a working treatment.
