My child has alopecia, I noticed first bald spot at about age 3 years old. Now she is 8 and has lost 75 percent of her hair. I'm really just seeking knowledge and understanding. My heart breaks at time. But my daughter is strong and I pray for her and other's that are affected with alopecia. Just a small update my dtr is now 12 and in middle school.

Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for the friend request and the very nice compliment. You have a beautiful family! I am curious about your daughter. How does she feel about her alopecia? I know when I was young,I was completely obsessed with having nice long hair (which I never had). But I've noticed on Alopecia World, many young people have the most amazing attitude towards their alopecia, and it always brings a smile to my face, because I would not have been half as positive about it. Just curious how your little girl feels? T (for Tammy) :D
Hi Lisa, thanks so much for the friend request! Remain strong for your little girl, she will soon develop the courage needed for this journey.journey Sending positive thoughts and blessings to you and your family.
