About Me:
I am a mother a beautiful 16 month old girl, who I love so much. Suddenly, her hair has begin to shed rapidly and the doctors feel that she has AA. They have conducted a biopsy on her scalp, and we are waiting for the results. I feel so alone in this and as much as I want to be strong for her, and not let her see me sad, it is very hard. I'm mostly concerned about her future with this condition and how other people will react to her with no hair. Finding support for her as well as myself would be a plus, but I'm having a hard time finding any support groups where I live. I love Keri with all my heart, and only want the best for my little princess.

Are there any parent of children with alopecia that live in Pensacola, Fl? My daughter, who is just 16 months old was recently diagnosed with this condition and I am activley trying to seek out support. It's very heartbreaking to witness this happening to my little girl, although she has no clue of whats happening to her at this time. I still feel concern for her and her future with this condition.
