About Me:
I'm 8 1/2 years old. I was diagnosed w/ Alopecia Areata at 4 yrs, 10 mos. old. My hair has progressed from random spots on my head to almost complete baldness to, now, it may appear as though I have a head full of hair but there are many bare spots, large and small underneath. Fortunately, I actually have very thick hair, when I have hair. I have lost all the hair on my body but have never lost my eyelashes and have lost sections of my eyebrows (they come & go in spots). We do wonder if puberty has had a bearing on my hair growth. But as you all know, it is difficult to determine what the cause...
