About Me:
Hey, Im Ella! :)
I live in a beautiful town by the sea. I love to dance and spend time with my beautiful friends and family. I'm currently studying sport at college, which I really enjoy. I work as a swimming teacher and adore working with the younger children. I volunteer 1dat a week at Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education. Through this I have learnt quite a bit of sign language which I really enjoy using.
When I have spare time I like to help out on my friends farms, take the dog out for country walks and when its warm enough and not raining (which isnt very often)I love to spend time at the beach!!
I have alopecia, I got it when I was 14 and lost my hair back to my ears on both sides of my head. Luckily I have immediate regrowth so, overtime it all came back. However 4 years later it has returned, yet this time I have lost the majority of my hair and so been forced to shave what was left off. Its easier and harder all at the same time. Easier becasue I have been through it before and luckily I came out the other side. However it is harder this time because I have lost so much more. Being at college is great and I have a fabulous set of friends. But people are more confident when they're older and so this time around I have had to face a lot more questions, asumptions and negative remarks, despite the amazing support of my family and friends.

So over the past 6 weeks I have been off college. During that time My alopecia has started and taken over.. to the point where I have had to shave my head. Its tough, crazy tough to get your head around and come to terms with. It takes time, support and self confidence. But I have done it. I have come to terms with my alopecia and the fact that I have no control over it. I don't mind that I have bald patches or that I have had to shave my head, that's me and I am PROUD to be who I am. But…
