"I tried to get the xeljanz med about a year ago and BCBS would not pay for mine. It is 1,000.00 a month and I can not afford it!! I have auto-immune Alopecia as well. "

I work at St. Jude Children's hospital part-time weekender shift. I have been married 35 years and have 2 children which are the joy of my life! I have been suffering with alopecia about 2 years and in Nov. 2016 lost all of my hair. now waiting to see a specialist in Cleveland Ohio!!

AU!? Geesh. Very sorry. I am 9 mos into AA and wonder if AU is next for me.
This hair loss is a seriously tough test for us all, but i think we were always the ones strong enough to handle it and that's why it was us and not somebody else.
My advice is to write down some things that you can read when you're feeling down. I write mine in Notes on my phone. I can share some of mine if u want to hear and maybe other people will share too.
Just remember, hair is not the most important thing, love is and we CAN produce that. Anytime we want and however much we want. Love is the key to passing this test!
