Autoimmune Protocol

Has anyone ever tried the Autoimmune Protocol diet? I was talking to a lady who had alopecia areata and reversed her hairloss and recovered all of her hair.  She deleted any food that might promote inflammation.  I have sort of tried it for a short time, but it's so difficult to follow. And the list of what not to eat is so overwhelming . Basically all you can eat is fruit vegetables chicken pork or beef which cant be cooked with anything other then olive oil coconut oil.  And you can eat green…See More

This stupid thing depresses me from time to time and makes me angry because it seems like nothing you do can stop It from happening.I lost around 40 percent of my scalp hair, started doing kenalog injections every month for the past year and a half.  Finally , i have recovered and have 85 percent of the hair on my scalp. Many many months went by and I thought it was done . And then yesterday I noticed I was starting to lose eyelashes on my right eye and this decides to happen after I just…See More

scalp micropigmentation

Has anyone ever heard of scalp micro pigmentation? I am thinking about having it done. It is a permanent solution. It basically resembles a tattoo and acts as a camoflauge . So , although I am only AA. In any scenario if it grows back good but if it doesn't or if it grows back and falls out again no one will know the difference because you will a already have camoflauge there.  It looks like real hair.  I get cortisone injections every month and my derm says I am recovering slowly but surely.…See More
