I have no idea if this is the right place to post this but I have two Jon Renau wigs for sale. The Brooklyn which has been worn maybe 4-5 times and the Victoria which has never been worn (tags still attached, still in box). I'm pretty open to reasonable offers. Victoria is shade 4 (dark brown) and I think Brooklyn is 4/33 (dark brown with subtle red highlights). If you're interested email me at jacqinthebox@gmail.com and I'll send photos/more info. Thanks!

Hi Judy, bit of late reply as I only come on here when i'm shedding hair. I'm a Wellingtonian (Porirua), 25 male. I have Areata, so lose patches of hair, eyebrows, some body hair but have most of it at the moment

Hi - I have just joined the New Zealand Alopecians Group albeit I have been a member of  Alopecia World for some time.  I lost all my hair (Alopecia Universalis) in 2008 over the course of a couple of months.  Every now and then I get little bits come back and at the moment I have eyelashes, which is a very strange feeling.

I am a Wellington lass and would like to know if there are any bods out there in the Wellington/Hutt area with the same condition.

I wear wigs for the most part, which I got from the government assistance and I have to say the lady that makes them (in Lower Hutt opposite Waterloo Railway Station) does an excellent job.  Especially the latest one I got last year for my daughter's wedding.

My aim is to be bold, and go to the shops without a wig.  I wear a scarf if it is really hot or a bandana when I go to the gym.

Would love to hear from someone local.

Happy new year to everyone.

Are the cheaper wigs on Direct wigs comfortable to wear?

Hey livvy I get my wigs from direct wigs which is in the UK. They're awesome to deal with and I'm really badly with my wig I got from there. I got one online from prowigsau and they were terrible.
