Hello everyone, I am Aisha from Leicester. I am so happy to have found this site because I do not share my alopecia with anyone. I have had alopecia for 8 years and still struggle to cope, especially . covering the eyebrows and eyelids. But with time having alopecia has made me a stronger person.

Hi, I am from the middlesex/london area and I am looking to meet up with like minded people to chat about 'hair', it's a weird subject to discuss too much with friends and I would love some hair buddies :)

Hi I'm Lyndsey and I'm 23 and from Shropshire. I've had alopecia on and off for 7 years, with 3 x full regrowth and am on my fourth fall out now. I have alopecia areata but it's usually to the extent that I shave my head because I can't hide the loss. Right now I have no eyebrows or lashes and I'm finding that quite difficult.

Hi there, my names Abbie and I'm 21. This is the second time in my life that I've had alopecia, the 1st time was when I was 14 bt this time I've been told its not growing back. I'm really glad I found this site coz I don't feel like I'm on my own, If anyone lives in the Bath/Bristol area let me know coz I live in Trowbridge/Hilperton and would love to meet someone who's in the same boat as me :) xx

Hi, I am in West Yorkshire, and really struggling to find a good wig supplier, where I can call in and try on wigs and feel comfortable doing so. If anyone knows of a place I can easily get to then please message me and let me know, I will be hugely grateful.

thats really brave and strong of you!!! yes, i do agree - i think a child may be traumatised if they pulled something off lol

Thanks for the advice. I dont think I want fake eyelashes or eyebrows, I just want to be myself and if thats the weird bald chick that people stare at then thats the way its gonna have to be I guess! Plus I think I may traumatise a child for life if they accidently pull an eyebrow off at work hahaha!
