I feeli like that I lost my hair and something I loved to do which was fixing and curling my hair. I don't know if I can ever accept this. I still cry everyday over my hair loss..

I posted once before.....
I've always looked better with longer hair, at least shoulder length. It fits my face and personality....the bald look just doesn't work for me...I applaud all those with the 'everything' it takes to wear it, but as long as there is some other form of hair I can sport I most definitely will!

Hi Leslie - I have two human hair wigs made for me by a wig maker in the DC area. I got to see them actually make wigs! I was very lucky to find her - especially since she is within a few hours drive for me.

LilyBell - i got so tickled about your comment that if you had to call 911 and crawl to your wig and plop it on your head just cracked me up. I feel the same way. and i am still embarrassed to let my derm see my bald head even though he's use to it and doesn't care.
i will never accept my hair loss or go in public without a hairpiece.
i'm curious, do you have a Freedom Wig human hair piece?

I don't like to go out in public without something on my head and makeup on my face. I don't always have to have my wig on, I'll wear a scarf but fully bald. Forget about it! I purchase most of my wigs online but if I am with another baldie my confindence is a little more boosted and I have no problem trying on wigs in public. But makeup...... if I have none on I look like I am literally dying. I have gone out without makeup but I am not myself. I just want to hide in the shadows.... but draw some eyebrows and darken my eyes with liner and watch out!

I look better with hair. Period. Some look good sporting the bald look - although I tend to think those women would look gorgeous no matter what - I am not one of them. I need my hair. It flatters my facial features. I don't accept my hair loss and never will - but I cope the best I can and for me that is wearing hair. I will never be among the bald and happy group - that is just me.

I don't think I could ever go outside without a wig on either. People keep telling me to try a scarf or something but I just keep imagining it sliding off my head in public...yikes!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who just can't get up enough nerve or courage to walk around all natural. For me I can't even say the word "bald". I guess it comes from bad childhood experiences. But I have a hard time even looking in the mirror at myself before doing my "hair". Just glad I'm not alone!

hello evryone,
I can;'t even stand to let my family let me see bald let alone go outside, I would probably pass out if I went out and someone seen me bald cause around where I live no one knows of it , they'd think right away she must have cancer!
I am only bald very rarely in my home cause the head does need to breath once in a while. Seems if a bald guy walks by a grp of people no one would care or even glance at him but put a woman in a crowd bald and see just how many people acutally STARE!!! makes ya think
