Are you or a family member living with alopecia? This group is here to support those of us living with the condition and offers a place for individuals to come together and speak about alopecia and learn from it. Here to empower teenagers and young people as they go through changes within their lives and families. Each day alopecia touches families; you live with it every day so why not live your best life and be all you can be.

We are not defined by a condition we are defined by our actions and life choices. Positive thought, positive action leads to a good chance of a positive outcome. YOU are unique ...so shine like the powerhouse you are and be proud of yourself.

This online club will meet from time to time. It is your club so you decide what happens pretty much, if you have ‘inspirational thoughts or ideas’ send them in. We will be organising meetings in Central London [Youth club], with mentors and ambassadors coming to speak about being unique and individual. Some of those ambassadors will have an understanding of alopecia and some will not but they will each bring their life experiences and share them with you.

Who knows perhaps some of you will become those very "ambassadors" we speak of.

This is an opportunity for growth, to do and try things you may not have been confident to try alone; we will stand together and try them out. Not everybody will have alopecia at these events but everybody will have their own challenges.

As TaYouth Foundation [Tayo Irvine Hendrix Youth Foundtion] grows there will be opportunities for doing courses during school holidays and for those who have left school full time. I will be running weekend workshops for: Confidence Building, Tai Chi or Kick-boxing. As a former musician and artist there will be opportunities to attend some creative courses run by top music producers, musicians, artists and such. This is about YOU gaining your confidence in your teenage years. This is the beginning of a long journey of empowerment and self belief.

I BELIEVE WE CAN BE THE CHANGE WE NEED TO SEE IN THE WORLD! ... it starts with you.
