I am new to the site. I was diagnosed with AA 2.5 years ago but this spring it progressed to half of my head. I live in Cincinnati (re-located about a year ago with my husband) and I would definitely be interested in joining a support group in the area if anyone knows about one? It's been a roller coaster of emotions lately and I'm glad to have the site to turn to for support. -elana

Well Stephanie, I would be interested in volunteering and / or modeling for the fashion show. I would like more information.

Hello everyone!

The Fashion With Flair will feature great local clothing designers, local dessert shops, local business and many great artists on display. There will be dancers, a live fashion show and live band following the fashion show. This is a time to mingle, eat, drink and enjoy what this great local city has to offer, while helping a great cause!

Proceeds from the event are being raised on behalf of NAAF. The Foundation provides reliable publications, a support network of families, education conferences for families, a web site, scholarship, a research program, and more.

Regular tickets are $30 pre-sale or $35 at the door and there are limited VIP tables available for $320 a table (that's $40/person) the tables will hold a max of 8 people. The event will have hor d'oeuvres with the doors opening at 6pm and the event starting at 7pm.

For more information about alopecia areata or at the Fashion With Flair event, contact Stephanie Cleary at 513-739-5559 or Charlene Naber at 513-237-5246 or email us at lily_entertainment@yahoo.com. More information is also available at the NAAF web site, www.naaf.org as well as at www.lily-entertainment.com.

We are also in need of volunteers, a few models and vendors if anyone is interested email Lily Entertainment at lily_entertainment@yahoo.com

Hi, I am just North of Dayton, used to be a group that met in Middletown, but I do not think it exists any longer (I think it met at the Hospital there). I do not know of a specific group in the the Dayton/Cincy area right now, might do some research and see.
