Hi, I´ve got last two semesters of nursing school to do and I will have a trainning in September. I had regrowth, but my hairs are fallen again. I´ve been thinking about shaving it again. My mum wants buy new wig for me. But I´m afraid it´ll be hot. I´m afraid it fell out if I would bend over patient too. I was bald last school year and nobody´s care about it. I´d like to ask: Do you wear a wig in your work or are you wigless? What are your experiences? Thanks.

Hi-I've been an RN for 26 years and when I lost my hair I went to wigs and have always worn them. My wigs have been very secure with velcro tabs

Hi Alena
Yes, I wear a wig to work. I told a few of my colleagues (its a new job) about my problem and they were sympathetic. I have been advised to go to a less stressful job. Get nice comments from patients about the colour and shinyness of my hair. Stays on with gravity. I do lots of bending over and it stays on so far...
How about you?

I wear a wig to work as well. I use wig cap and gel(super glue gel) te secure it. It works.
