Happens to the best of us, I've found. Of course the age thing bothers me less than the hair thing.

Two of my favorite actors. I guess I'm aging too. Lol

Was not expecting to find a movie fanatic group here, but YAY! I love movies. My favorite (just as of last week) is LARRY CROWNE with Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks. Two aging actors playing two aging characters...and it was brilliant. My friend and i left with smiles on our faces :) :)

John always seems to give great reviews, he should be a movie critic. Welcome to the group Heather. :)

Hey! Happy to have found this group - not sure how I missed it! I LOVE movies! Jeff- I recently saw the Hangover 2 also.. .and thought it was awsome! Gotta love Alan & I understand that monkey has quite a career - is currently in 3 movies! Bridesmaids was funny too - esp since I am about to be maid of honor in a few months... got a few ideas! :)

John- great review of Super 8 - I'll have to check that one out! cool you will be in Bangkok - the Hangover may be helpful to see in that it will show you what NOT to do while there... ha!

Cookie - I have never heard of Hachi!! Now and again I do like a tear-jerker... gotta be in the right mood for it. I'll look for that one..

Went to see Super 8 this is basically ET on steroids it is bigger, with more bang for your buck. The child actors carry the film and show a great range of emotion for children their age, and event though he did not direct this film has Spielberg's finger prints all over it. Of course he emotionally blackmails us when has he not, its what we expect from Spielberg, really bad baddies and really good goodies, redemption, loss, grief, and a really corny "letting go scene" which is cringe worthy, and of course the action all takes place in middle America. The CGI is awesome hard to see where it begins and finishes, and the best alien creature creation, since well since Alien, this is a a great popcorn movie and you wont come out feeling ripped. 8 out of 10. Is that up near San Fran Jeff?
John you want us to see a heart breaking film? Hachi is another sad film if you are into that type thing. Will make you cry. Watch it with your wife if you haven't seen it already. :) Or don't if you don't want to be sad.
