Prometheus is a very good movie that leaves you a little dissapointed in that it fails to answer the many questions we have had about the "space jockey" and his origins. We are left with more questions than answers, which one expected when Ridley Scott said in an interview that the planet was not going to be LV233 but instead it is set on LV426, frustrating Ridley. Awesome CGI, strong acting performances, and unexpected plot twists will keep any dedicated Alien fan happy, it's no masterpiece it's more a Chinese food movie leaves you satisfied when you leave but the need for more sets in. 4 out 5 from this hungry Alien devotee, keep them coming Ridley.

Rainy day in San Francisco...went to see The Descendants with George Clooney. Good film!

Ed Wood! Excellent choice, love that movie. Though not shot in B&W I would highly recommend Midnight In Paris to anyone who hasn't seen it. Really well done and a nice old time feel. There's always Eraserhead but that's not for everyone. Sin City was in B&W too and that I thought that was just so so.

Good to hear you enjoyed The Artist DrRock! It got me thinking of other recent movies that have been made in black and white. So have gone and re-watched Pleasantville and Ed Wood! Gotta love a good movie or few eh :)

I also really enjoyed The Artist and would recommend trying to see it in a movie theater for full effect. It's something to see. Great film.

Hiya movie peeps....

I'd just like to say go and see 'The Artist'. A beautifully shot black and white movie that sucks you into its old fashioned charm :) Fabulous indeed :)
