Leon spoke some very true words.....
You have to know you're worth first and then you'll attract beauty around you!!
these, are the very true words I am living my life by today...for whenever a man may see the worst in me..or uglyness, God see's the best in me and all in HIS timming will the man HE has for me come into my life!!

Leon,
They didn't break up with me...I finally saw the light and new that it was time to stop being degraded, humiliated, disrespected, defiled as the list goes on.
I wont allow anyone to discredit my worth.
So I ended the abuse once and for all!
No person has the right to take away ones dignity and innate being.
Life is meant to be lived.

Leon, You brought tears to my eyes and my soul.
It has been so long that anyone has put words into meaning, which I could feel, as you have spoken from your heart.
I know you are so very right!
I also know and did see the problems way beyond the hair.
I also know they do have personality problems and each one very different to the other.
Unfortunately, they wear a mask..a facade which can be hard to detect in the beginning, and as time unfolds..so does the ugly truth.
I must value myself without a doubt and it has been evident that I haven't been doing it!
Now I have taken steps, no matter how difficult this road is for me.
However..I will come out stronger than ever before if I persevere.
I never stop fighting for survival..so this is just another piece of the puzzle.
Thank you and Bless you too!
May this year bring you everything you have always dreamed of, and wished for in life.

MiNah,

I'm sorry for the horrible time you've had in relationships. Don't hate me for saying this but the men that you chose didn't break up with you because of your hair. There was something else really wrong with them that you were not able to see. I pray that the good Lord will bless you to see what needs to be seen up front before you decide to join with someone. You're beautiful.

You have to know you're worth first and then you'll attract beauty around you.

God bless.

There is a saying" Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
I am not looking!
It's the unfortunate thing that the people who claim to respect, care and love me have their own personal insecurities with social acceptance.Feeling embarrassed in my presence is their problem...not mine.Yet it carries over to me and can go deep.
These same people would have a problem if I would be burnt or disfigured in some way.
I know they are the ones with the problem, not Me!

Hi Minah -- I'll second what Norm said...you must be looking in all the wrong places -- there are plenty of us out there who truly don't care and judge someone by what's in their head, not on top of it

"Where are the men who don't mind".... maybe they're all shy! (or maybe not that shy... ahem.)
Minah.... don't stop looking. There really ARE guys who don't mind, or even like it! Please don't judge all fellas based on your past bad experiences.... although you do seem to have met more than your fair share of, erm, posterior orifices. Carry on being upfront, being yourself, and you'll get there! When I first went bald back in '75 I couldn't get a date for love nor money... but I kept trying, and you know what? It started to pay off! So hang in there! :)

Sorry, It's me again, we say that beauty comes from within and that hair means absolutely nothing ... but it's because we are all here suffering from some kind of hair loss or another. Get me one of those people who has never experienced alopecia and let them tell me that beauty comes from within. Bud don't understand me wrong, I am not resentful, I'm just realistic.

Hi guys,
Where are those guys who don't mind??? In my country men DO mind, I am in a relationship and he says he doesnot mind, but I am not sure what he will feel like if I sit with him without a wig, I think he will start to mind and slowly will resent it and I will lose him. Growing up, before I started wearing wigs, I have never ever had a boyfriend, who wand want to be seen with the bald girl.
