Since I was told this is an autoimmune disorder, I was thinking about trying this diet to try and help reset my immune system. Has anyone ever tried this? Any luck?

Carol, I have been on AIP for 6 months. I felt that right away it calmed down the redness and things seemed to slow down. Just recently I seem to have a flare, why? not sure. I was trying to stop the clobestol so maybe that was it...I am back to using it once per day with my finasteride. I have loved the diet and yummy food....I feel wonderful but so want this hair loss thing to stop. I will be going on a trip in June so I am challenging back a few things so I will have more to choose from. I will continue on with AIP hope that I see hair growth too as these other ladies have. They say it is finasteride.....we will see. Stay on AIP it is so good for us. I too also have understood that skin diseases take longer to heal......we have to stick in there......

Nutrition is the main thing that you must follow strictly if you want to lose weight. All is very individual and from all the possible diets for each one will help different programs.
