flower very nice, my mum used to own a florist it failed due to location. She still does it at home. I used to love the smell of all the fresh flowers.

Hi Catherine, welcome and hello to everyone else.

I always wanted to have my own flowershop and/or giftshop. I love arranging and designing all kinds of objects. I love to display things in a way as to look attractive.
On and off I've been designing giftbaskets which include working with flowers real and artificial to add enhancements. I've been told some of the 'fakes' look real.
For years I dabbled in graphic arts and now I'm designing my own website from scratch..whew!.....has me scratching my head more.....don't need that LOL!

Love to crochet....draw....see my sly kitty....blah blah....anyway
Been out of work for a while and really feeling the Whoazzzzzzme but hope everyone is doing ok.

I have been knitting/crocheting at work and found that it helps relax me a little! Also my manager showed me how to make a bag with a sowing machine which was cool. (i could think of worse things to do at work!)

I used to love trying new creative stuff as im abit of an butterfly flittering from flower to flower lol

At the mo I'm still doing my graphic design which i do have a website www.geekboxdesigns.com it might go inactive as i have to renew my sever space.

Well, Tallgirl, your life sounds wonderful...I would love to do any of that stuff!! I loved art in high school...eons ago..took every class I could get my hands on...now I am an avid scrapbooker, and love taking pictures as well. I dabble in quilting, and an occasional art project. Don't do alot of drawing & painting anymore, but I used to when I was younger. Been thinking of making me some scarves, before I have to have them. Granny taught me to crochet when I was very young, but I only know the most basic stuff. Looking for a cool Christmas project for giving to family as gifts...thinking maybe some potholders or something..my family likes simple stuff like that.

Hello from Western Australia! I love all art too. I also teach, paint portraits in oils and w/c, sew and do any type of "craft" that appeals to me. It's what keeps me sane... I also have AA and I have been tempted to paint something cheerful on my bald bits as it may be more fun to look at them that way, instead of feeling sad every day:) What do you think, shall I start a new trend, then?

I have an M.A. in Art Education, training in Art Therapy, and of course, teaching credential, fine art show experience/awards, and a past illustration career. Have also been typesetter, graphic artist, framer and art director. A lot of it was for magazines and newspapers, including 3 TV guide covers for a paper in Michigan (not The TV Guide!). Now I get to teach the art elective along with my other subjects at a school. Dang, I wish I had time and money to just paint in some quaint town...then sell big through some gallery!
