I have a Bichon Maltese. This dog has already become for me like a son. My husband gave it to me two years ago. In fact, I always thought that I was far from dogs, and I would never have a dog. And two years later, I understand how much I was wrong. Now, I carefully follow his every step. We recently bought a dog tracker for him, and I will be calm for him when he is walking. We are thinking of taking one more dog to play together.

Two years ago while being part of a Wisconsin Shih Tzu rescue group, a little wide-eyed, snub-nosed hairless dog was needing rescue from an Oklahoma shelter which had contacted our 7-state organization. Being AU, I volunteered to do the fostering but eventually like our other dogs, it was quickly adopted. After a few months, a coarse coat appeared along with a terrier personality. Just never know what will happen when the new hairpiece arrives.

We just got back from the Oregon Coast...the dogs loved it as much as we did. I love to see their carefree attitude running on the beach chasing seagulls. Though when it was time to head home they were probably more anxious than us go home. I think even my furlegged kids like the comforts of home :-)
I'll post some pictures soon of the bliss on their little faces :-)

Took my two little (big) beasts to the dog park today. Of course Hera has to run into the most disgusting mud puddle....she's all happy about it until we get home and she has to have a bath. Samson, my old fart even had a good time running around and chasing the other dogs.
