Hi. I have female pattern hairloss, and I'm on my way to needing a full wig. Can anyone recommend an experienced wig stylist? Thanks in advance...

Hey how's is goin? I'm Dan. I have AU & I'm looking to meet other people with this. Do you guys meet regularly? Or do you know of groups that do?

Hi Angie,
I'm in Manassas. I'm sorry to hear your son was diagnose so young. I know what it is like to grow up with AA. Thank you for letting me know about the support group and I hope to be able to make it out sometime!

Hi Larisa,

I'm in Ashburn, VA. My son has AU and started with AA when he was 18 mos. He is now 5. He had made a lot of improvement regarding other symptoms like digestive problems and eczema. We are hopeful that his hair will grow back at some point. His head is full of peach fuzz, but it's just a matter of getting the hair follicles to strengthen and remain vital. Our support group meets in Reston, VA. The next meeting is scheduled for November 10th from 1-3pm.

You are correct on that, but I never hold my breath on it. I have had AA since I was 4 so I know the song and dance pretty well. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you have a good night as well. :)

Well, if it is AA, then it is good. The hair might come back in spots by itself in a few months. Just take it easy and sleep well.

Hi VG,
Actually I have AA.
