Hello! I was diagnosed back in June/July of 2009 when my fiance found a bald spot on the back of my head after I got out of the shower. We had been engaged since Dec. of 2008, and bless his heart, he has stuck by me through the depression and hair loss, treatments, regrowth and medication.
We are finally getting married in October of this year and I was wondering if anyone knew of any hairstylist in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale (or surrounding areas) that specialize in clients with short/thin hair. As my treatment is continuing, my hair is growing back, but slowly and I know it wont be the length I would feel comfortable with at the wedding. So, my goal is to find someone who is talented and experienced with people who suffer from hair loss. I would prefer to not wear my wig, as it hinders my hair growth and causes breakage and additional spots on my head.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I do realize there are places that can re-style my wig...but I would prefer to get my own hair styled for the day or possibly extensions, if I had more information on them. Thanks for your help!!! :)
