I really enjoyed the first half of the game. I hope the Steelers play just as well after halftime.

A friend had this posted on facebook. Loved it, sending along.

Number 7, playing in his 7th year, going after the 7th Steelers Super Bowl, just racked up his 7th win in his last 7 starts against the Ravens, winning by 7 points. The Steelers have won 7 AFC Championship games and lost 7 since the AFL-NFL merger of 19"7"0. After the “7”-0’s dynasty, beginning with the 1980 season, the Jets game will be the 7th AFC Championship game hosted by the Steelers, in their 77th season.

And if they win we'll be in seventh heaven

Myron Cope (January 23, 1929 – February 27, 2008), born Myron Sidney Kopelman, was an American sports journalist, radio personality, and sportscaster who is best known for being "the voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers."

Cope was a color commen...tator for the Steelers' radio broadcasts for 35 years. He was known for his distinctive, nasally... Voice with an identifiable Pittsburgh accent, idiosyncratic speech pattern, and a level of excitement rarely exhibited in the broadcast booth. Cope's most notable catch phrases were "yoi" and ”Okel Dokel!” And he invented the terrible towel! His birthday is on Sunday. What a tribute it would be to beat the Jets. Go Stillers!

Did you see on NBC News last night that they lit up the Empire State Building in green in honor of the Jets. Then on the return trip from New England the teams plane did a "fly by" so the team could get a closer look. That's so cool! Lots of respect from the Jets and Steelers for each other. Go Steelers!

Big Boy Ben got engaged to be married....yawn. He has been releasing the ball quicker this season and has fewer interceptions. The game to watch this weekend will be the Eagles and Packers, hope the Eagles win.
