Hi everyone my name is Kara. I've been suffering from AA for five years now. I started xeljanz and recently hit the three month mark and literally on the 90 day mark, I started noticing a drastic difference. I got one free three month supply from insurance, which is only given once a year. I had a friend visiting her home in Turkey and she was able to bring me two months supply for 600 each (much better than 1200 here and Canada) but obviously she will not be returning to Turkey anytime soon. I'm hoping my dr will be able to persuade my insurance to cover me! I see her tomorrow. I have not experienced any negative symptoms so far. I have also not gotten sick once! (Knock on wood!!!) I had three spots the size of my palm, and about 10 the size of a quarter spread randomly all over. As of now they are all growing in, but two are growing quite slower than the others but hey I'll take it! I hope this helps someone, I know there is a risk of possible negative side effects, but as of now this s*** is like gold. i was reluctant to try this medication out of fear of developing something much worse, but after speaking to my 2 different doctors, they made me feel comfortable. I did start this medicine when I was healthy and my blood tests were all normal. If you're going to start this medication without a doctors supervision, I highly suggest going to your genera doctor and getting a blood test and request everything your dermatologist would test for before starting. Goooood luck to all of you beauties out there! All my love.

So happy for you. Thank you for sharing. Btw, are you going to try topical jak?

I can't the Xeljanz right now b/c my cholesterol is high b/c last year my Dr. took me off statin drugs b/c of the side effects and was concerned that it could also have caused my hair to fall out. so it will be at least 3 months before I can start it!

I am curious, does this mean Xeljanz is available now for treatment? not just in trials? I am in Canada..

Great post! Thanks for sharing.
