I need someone who knows what I'm going through/been through

I've had alopecia universalis since 2006 and have been going through it with no one there to understand exactly what I'm going through. I have support, just no one who truly understands what it's like. It's taken a lot to get me to come on this site, but I realized I can only be strong for so long. I need someone who knows.

Hello, Jen. I´ve had alopecia universalis since 2007 (it started with small patches )I tried lots of treatments (rogaine, diphenciprone, corticoids, ayurvedic medicine) with no answer. I felt like a monster when I looked myself at the mirror, I wept, I cried, I thought: How can my husband be with someone like me? My self esteem was very low. Believe me, I know what you mean. But then I realized that we have only this life, and every minute is worth living. So, I decided to face this "problem", and to enjoy life as it comes. It is not easy, but it´s possible. I´m here to help you, if you please.

The only cure for Alopecia is remission which happens with NO outside parameters. It can't be bought or even found. It just happens! Happened to me four times and my hair lasted for years; and of course I did nothing! Remission happens mostly to people with AA (quite often) and rarely to people with AU.
Ayuvedic treatment is just another concoction of herbs.
