My daughter is taking a school trip to Disneyland soon and she is worried that her wig will blow off during one of the rides. Does anyone know if lace tape will be strong enough to hold it on?
Thanks.

That or glue. She could double up and wear double sided tape or glue plus a scarf. There's really great styles for scarves.I wish I wld've known to use scarves as a kid. They r easy to make too.
Thanks, Carmen.
I keep dreaming about the wig flying into the wind and all of her friends are running after it.

Susan,
Thank you for your help. My daughter' wig has elastic in the back. I did fix the wig based on your blog. It is very comfortable and secure. I will put tapes on the front and sides to make it more secure. I guess we won't find out until she gets on the roller coasters. She is very open about having AU. All her friends and teachers know. She said that she could check/leave her wig with the ride operators - hairless would not stop her from having fun. That's my girl - fearless.

That's awesome!Good for her.I wish I'd hv had that kinda attitude as a kid.Life wld hv been way more fun.I guess if the wig flies off in the wind it will create a really fun memory for her. : )

I know this was about 3 years ago, but I have recently just gotten a wig and the fair will be coming to my city very soon.. I was wondering if there was anything she had used to keep her wig from falling off. (without wearing a scarf)..
