ahhhhh Very true. Next time I will try it. Thanks :)
Hi Vanilla and Rose.

I like that answer Rose, It's not a lie, Vanilla you are a friend to yourself . Your a school teacher not a hair stylist. I love it!!!!

Hi Vanilla! I'm a Bronx to my heart. Born in raised. Worked in Queens for 20yrs.
Really? I'm actually living in the Bronx right now!
When someone would ask me, who did my hair I would say Man , they would say it's pretty. I guess they always thought it was a name. It was not a lie bc some man/woman had to make it. If they wanted details ,I would give the name of the place where I got it from. Yes, they was shocked to find out it's was a wig.

I have worked with the same co-worker for 12 years, some of them never knew that I wore wigs all those years, until Monday after returning to work and decided to raise Alopecia Areata Awareness and went in rocking my bald look. I can show you pictures with my wigs on and can't tell its a wig . Only if you like.
lol i love it! sure! send em
I usually tell them the truth. I say "Girl, it's a wig." Then I go into why I wear one. An opportunity to educate you know. People are amazed by the lace fronts. Ha ha
very true. I have a full lace. I guess u wear lace fronts so can i ask what you do with the back?
I wear mine up in a french roll , half up in a clip, a low ponytail or down. My straight wigs are easier to style then my curly one. I watch a lot of videos on youtube for ideas. I'm starting to have fun with the wigs! Sometimes I even wrap a scarf around and let the ends dangle or I'll wear a baseball cap and let the hair down under it.
I avoid that question by buying wigs with 2 to 3 colors blended, rooted, with layers and bangs. Then I don't have the obvious shiny-wig look or blunt hairline that shows up in photographs.

You can always say your stylist is someone in the CITY where you buy your wig..."out of town" or "someone I have used a long time."

Sometimes I get brave and just give the name of the shop...which has "wig" in the name. Then I walk away and let them ponder it.
Keep it a little on the messy side (like I do) and no one will ever ask?
I have no idea why I put a question mark at the end of that. Oh yeah, it's been a looong day!!
