Hi all,

I am an incoming freshman this fall, and I'm not sure what I will be doing with my wig while in the dorms. My roommates know about my alopecia, and they obviously don't care about it, but I'm just curious what you or your child does. How does he/she wash it and keep it on for? Is it bad to keep it on overnight?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever considered a bonded on hair system? Mine stays on all the time, and is very comfy to sleep in. I use a satin pillowcase to keep it from getting tangly and frizzy, and I love the feel of silky things anyway! Congratulations on starting college!! I'm sure whatever you decide you will have a fantastic experience!
My daughter has an all lace wig that she sleeps in. She changes every 3rd day. Her wigs come from a chinese website and they cost about $400 so I replace them every couple of months. She washes them and changes them in the shower. She loves college and alopecia has not gotten in her way.
I would love to know the site as well!!
