The UK's first Biobank for Alopecia Research - fighting for a cure - please help!

I wanted to tell the alopecia community about a research project that desperately needs support.  A charity in the UK, AAR-UK, is collaborating with The University of Glasgow to set up the UK’s first biobank for autoimmune alopecia.  AAR-UK is a charity focusing solely on research into Auto-immune Alopecia.  The are looking for funding for the project they are working on with the University of Glasgow and have only until the 30th November to raise £20,000.

Please spread the word in any way you canand help this research to go ahead.

www.naaf.org has a large Biobank with National Funding. Perhaps we should all stick together on this endeavor.

Thank you for the information.  You are absolutely right.  With the social media these days if everyone around the world communicated with one another and put all their findings and information together, surely a cure would be found.  It baffles me that this it is not possible in this day and age, to have a central research centre instead of research being done over and over again in different parts of the world without any sharing of data.  So much money and time would be saved.  Let's hope this will happen in the future.

Makes sense to me!
