My daughter has a swollen lymph node at the back of her head. Could this be related to her alopecia? Has anyone ever experienced this?

I have not seen anything about lymph nodes being related to alopecia in research but I have had severely swollen lymph nodes in my neck, grion area (in fact they looked like grapes under my skin!) and my collar bone area during episodes of hair lost. She could just be getting a cold too :)
Fungal infection perhaps? try nizarol shampoo.
I had lymph nodes that were swollen but went down after nizarol and detoxing.
My lymph nodes swell quite often and have since my early teens. My doctor check it out and ran some blood tests but there wasn't anything in the test results. My doc said that your lymph nodes are used to help fight off illness (colds, flu, etc.), and for some people they get really swollen and noticeable when this happens. Mine happens more on the side of neck and my armpits. It can be kind of helpful, because when I notice them swelling, I know my body is trying to fight something so I make sure I get more rest and take better care of myself so that I don't end up getting sick.

This may or may not be the case for your daughter. I'd for sure have it check out, just to be safe.

Good Luck!
My son had one as an infant, that eventually went away, but he does not have alopecia as of now, and he is 30 years old. I didn't have alopecia show up until age 50.
This is a good thing to know... I never heard this, but always having my lymp nodes swell under my armpits and wasn't sure why they do that. Thanks for sharing.
