Started using Viviscal. Wish me luck!

Hi Everyone,

I just got my package of Viviscal in the mail. I figured I'll give it a try. Just wondering if anyone else on this forum has used it and can report any success stories?

Progress report. After using Viviscal for one month now,(1 tablet after breakfast and one after dinner), I've only noticed regrowth on my eyebrows so far. The hairs are white though, but better than nothing. Hair on my head is still falling out, but seems to slow a little. Will do another progress report in a month.

Hello nahla. Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, it's not working for me. I am on my last package (I was only going to do it for 3 months and see).

I saw a little regrowth on my eyebrows but only 5-8 white hairs which isn't really much. That's really all that's happened.

During the entire time I took it I had a regular shedding period and hair on my pillow every morning. So it definitely didn't stop anything. Taking one pill after breakfast and one after dinner also left me with a few minor side effects. The first time I took the evening pill it was after 9pm and I was restless all night and couldn't sleep. From that moment on I made sure to take it no later than 7pm. The second side effect was constipation, but lately I've been taking only one pill after breakfast and it seemed to be better.

Anyway, everyone is different but it definitely didn't work for me. :-(

Here is my final progress report after using a 3 months supply of Viviscal.

Some hair on my scalp seemed to grow a little faster than usual, but other areas were shedding during the same time. Some eyebrow hairs came back. 1 dark one and the rest all white. Unfortunately, not enough though. You can count all the eyebrow hairs on 2 hands. Some constipation still persisted even so I am only taking one pill a day now. So all in all, Viviscal did not help my alopecia. :-(
