Hello everyone,

I have now had Alopecia for 10 years, I started with AA, then AT and now back to AA. Recently, I have had a few new spots appear and some of my eyebrows have started to go again. Lately I have found my stress/anxiety levels to be quite high and for certain things to be on my mind more than they should, which I feel may be contributing.

My questions is, has anybody here ever gone through therapy to help with the effects of Alopecia and ways to manage many of the stress and anxieties that come from it and if yes, then how did you find this? Since I have had Alopecia, I have dealt with it all mostly on my own and don't really like talking about it or opening up to people as I am a slight introvert - I am very much a keeping a smile on my face person and soldering through. Now i believe that speaking to someone may be the next thing to help me come to a new stage of managing my emotions to stop my Alopecia getting worse.

Any information on your journey or advise is helpful.

Many Thanks
