Hi All,

I currently have AU (for the last 4 years) and want to share this bit of info with ya'll.

I used to work for Dr. Suzanne Bruce, Dermatology in Houston, Texas.  I worked along side her for 5 years.  Her practice has a long time Research Department.  This is the newest Alopecia study to come to Houston.  It involves using a topical similar to the effects of using topical Xeljanz.  If you are someone you know is interested in this study I am giving you the contact information.

The study participants must have lost at least 25% of their scalp hair..

Valarie is the contact for this study.  713-985-0210.

This is exciting! A topical precursor similar to Xeljanz. Is it a JAK inhibitor?

Any idea what will happen to the participants after the trial? Can they still take the drug from Incyte for free or do they really have to stop it? It's emotionally quite devastating if this cream really works and after the trial you will be forced to stop taking the cream :(

According to the study outline, qualified participants will be able to continue the treatment for an additional 24 weeks.
If you are on xeljanz they will not accept you into the study for those that are interested , I met with them and was unfortunately turned away, but it does look promising as the topical version is much safer.
