well everyone after two years with no hair at all , losing eye lashes and eye brows my little man has had enormous regrowth, since january his hair has been growing white at first now turning a lightish brown , he only has a small patch at the back of his head that is still missing hair and he is so happy, it was starting to upset him how do you answer a five year old when he asks why dont I have hair, especially when we were told he had a less than 5% chance of getting regrowth because ofbeing so young and having such extensive loss, so we didnt get any treatments for him quite honestly I was worried about the treatments discussed causing more harm, it is so hard to know what to do , but we've had a miricle happen and however long it last I am happy for my lil man, guess those wishes you make when blowing out your candles do come true, never give up hope, my thoughts are with everyone xox

I'm glad to hear this! What a fortunate boy!

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, however please be sure you both know the real chance of recurrence, especially given the risk factors you mentioned. It might be doubly devastating if there is a recurrence if you weren't prepared for the possibility (for you and especially for your son who at his level of development may think he's 'cured').

Best of luck to you!
