Hi everyone,

I have ophiasis pattern alopecia areata that is slowly getting worse and it is hard now to cover it up. I will be visiting NY shortly and I am look for some good Men's wigs/hair pieces. I know that there are not many active men in the section but whatever help I can get is most welcomes. For me price is not a major consideration but I am looking for something that can give natural looking hair line.

Thanks.

JosephParis.com and alfieri.com have extensive experience. Talk to as many as you can fit into your trip. The good ones will want you to compare their product with their competitors' and will expect it. If anyone says "mine is the only product out there and everything else is garbage" , think twice. You want to feel there's attentive communication between you and the person making you look your best. Is the seller listening to you and your requirements and concerns? or are they just blabbing on and on about their product being the best thing since sliced bread?

When you narrow it down, you can also ask if they have any clients you could speak to or meet at their salon. Seeing someone's piece after they've owned it for a while is another way to judge if you like it. Trust your first impression: does the person look good? Natural? Does the cut and style fit their personality and occupation?

Andy Alfieri is wonderful! I have seen a number of men walk out of his office and you would never know they have hair pieces on. He and his staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. I met Joe Paris and he also seems to have a high quality product but my personal experience has been with Andy.
hi, i don't know if u shave the rest, but if you need a terrific full head piece, jon fortgang in ny, makes an awesome one. they r super super thin and totally realtistic, but you have to have a totally hairfree head. u can see at nuhair.com they are costly tho.
