Who knows of a good eyeliner that won't wear off? Everything I've tried wears off after a few hours, because there's no eyelashes for it to attach to or stick close to. It's just smooth skin that's kind of wet from being so close to eyeball lol. I've tried waterproof, and all sorts of kinds. I'm worried about summer when it's hot and sweaty and even worse than now. Also for things like swimming and stuff. I just look so..weird with absolutely nothing on my face. Like it's very plain because I'm so pale, and then I don't have eyelashes or brows. Brows I don't really care about, but I want something at least on my eyes. I've tried liquid, but even that starts to wear away closer to my water line. It's so annoying! Which brand, type, etc do you reccomend?

Bobbi Brown gel liner at the edge of the lid. On the upper lid to fake a lash line, you need to use one finger to pull up the lid a little to get the liner right at the edge. It dries like mascara very quickly so be sure to keep the lid of the container on every second you can to prevent it drying from exposure to the air. It comes in luscious colors, some with sparkle, but I suggest only the basic black, brown or dark blue. If you live near Neimans or Nordstroms you can stop by the Bobbi Brown counter (call ahead, not all Nordies have them) and I'm certain the artists will be more than happy to experiment with you. You don't need their brush, you can use any tiny, firm brush. Be sure to wipe it off every time as soon as you finish, or the excess will dry and harden on the brush..like mascara does on lashes.
Let us know if you give it a try and how it goes.

Hmm, I might have to order it online. We don't have those stores here..I'm in Winnipeg Manitoba. I'll have to check it out! Thanks so much.
well a good and very inexpensive liquid eyeliner is wetnwild's H2O Proof . i used to use it and it worked really really well for me . and then i'd use Revlon's ColorStay Eyeliner in my tightline & waterline (:

now i use Maybelline New York Eyestudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black and i abs. love it <3

( all products can be found at your local drugstore :)

both methods work equally well . i just switch it up depending on the look i'm going for . good luck !!

xxoxoo -Essence .
Great! Thanks, I'm gonna try it!
A good quality liquid eyeliner is probably best. I like Mac black liner that comes in a little tub and I apply it with a brush I purchased there.
I hear MAC is really good! Thanks
Yeah I've noticed :/
it's a lot of money..
Hi Charity, you might want to try a lid primer such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay Shadow Primer. I don't even wear eyeshadow, I use it to keep my liner on...and works great.

I agree....all the lid primers create a barrier for skin oils and put down a thin foundation layer for liners. I love them.

Nice! Thank you
Charity, Hi!! The eyeliner thing is a good discussion! I have tried alot and as you pointed out , without the eyelashes, I personally have sesnitve eyes and can't change up all the time or I just tear up and wash it all off anyways. I use the cheapo Cover Girl brow & eye makers in midnight black (about $3-$4 just about anywhere. I brush over my eyes with a powder puff (if I'm not using base foundation) and then heat the tip just a bit with a cigarette lighter, not melt it just heat it, and I don't do the tear line on the bottom (always make my eyes water) just the top. I never have trouble with it staying on. It will fade some after a long day, but will still be visible. I use baby wash or a baby wipe to wash my face and comes off without irritation or burning the eyes. Happy hunting!! Blessings!! Lori
Hi Charity, I like to put some foundation or eyeshadow on my eyes I think this helps it stay on better. Then I use Revlon ColorStay or L'Oreal Pencil Perfect eyeliner Pencil in brown/espresso (I like the Revlon best). Over that I use Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Black/Brown. I used to wear Black but I like the way the brown looks better. It stays on all day for me, I have to actaully use a eye makeup remover to get it off.
