Hi Angela,

According to Leslie Ann Butler's book on dealing with AA, she finds Ardell's brand to be the best. She suggests using it in a dark tone not the clear because she says the clear actuallt dries white in spots sometimes. She has been told that a product called "Diamond" a hair bond glue that supposedly is safe and keeps your false eyelashes on for a couple of weeks although she hasn't been able to find it. There is semi-permanent eyelash glue available that is semi-permanent but she said the smell is so strong that it made her eyes water. if you buy her book"If Your Hair Falls Out Keep Dancing" you will find an abundance of information in it about all the things we deal with on a daily basis. There is so much in it about the beauty products so many of us are interested in now. She also tells where to get these things.

Hope this helps at least a little.

Hugs
Marie
Thanks Marie.. I will try to find the book......Angela
Actually, unless Ardell has upgraded their glue it is not (IMO) the best-it falls into the category of "works well but hideous to take off the strip at night"

I use DUO-it can hold well unless you cry, and it has enough stretch in it that you can peel most of it off, in one movement, once you get it going. I find the Ardell has to be worked at for a while to get off. You really need to get all the old glue off before reusing your lashes. I buy DUO through Ballbeauty-comes in transparent or dark-I use transparent, which goes on white and dries clear, because I am very fair.

Remember to check that you aren't using the glue for individual lashes by mistake-that is glue to make individual clumps stick to your own lashes, like eyelash extensions -the labeling on some boxes is not too clear
I've used many- DUO is the best! I would use the whole last, not just the seperate lashes, they are harder to put on. Check my profile under blogs and I wrote up a tutorial ; )
Has anyone ever had issues with the glue irritating their eyes? Where I live - there is ARDELL brand and there is DUO brand and that's it - and both products irritate my sensitive eyes. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this issue and if you had found a glue that worked. THanks.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this? My eyes are super sensitive, and both Ardell and Duo burn terribly. I would love to wear eyelashes, but can't. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
