I am interested in buying a lace front wig because then I will be able to glue it to my head and leave it on for a few days if I wish and to feel more confident that it won't come off in intimate moments.
So I am just wondering if anybody knows which internet sites are good to buy these from?
Also is it better to buy it in human hair or can I wash the synthetic ones on my head also?
Thank you,
Kimberly

Hi,

I am new to lace wigs, but I purchased two of them from www.rpgshow.com. I was satisfied in how fast they got to me. I ordered two custom units and it took about a month to get. The hair is real, it's Indian Remy. It's a little bit courser than I would like. It waves up when you wash it so I have to straighten it. It's also a bit thicker than what I would like. It's weird having all that hair. I will have to post some pictures of the wigs I got from there. I am looking into getting another wig for 2010, but I am still doing my research. Another good site I found is www.mslola.com. Another one I just found is www.yourstylelace.com. I think my next wig will be European hair. I have slept in my wig a couple of times but it's uncomfortable. I usually just put a piece of tape at the front of my hairline and by my ears. I am able to take it off at night without lace remover.
I get my wigs from serendiptywigs.com and i love them!!! The owner too has alopecia and wears them.
