Individuals here who join to self-promote own interests?

Is it just me or have other AW members encountered or noticed members who join and seem to only discuss alopecia in connection with a particular issue or treatment ... which ... coincidentally ... they have "more information" about if you would just contact them.  And generally that "more information" involves a product they are trying to sell?

Hi

I feel this site would be one of the only sites that I have ever been involved with that does investigate and take very seriously any complaint etc.  It personally makes me feel very safe and I believe it does stop trolling and other silly behaviour.  I've been part of this community for many years and have seen many people come and go...I have found most that are here are genuine in their want to support and help. Cheryl and RJ are vigilant and fair and this site is one that I think is something to be very proud of.

I think it is important to have your page set on private...and be circumspect around who you friend etc.
