Friends, I recently discovered something new for myself! It turns out that there is a mushroom supplements that can help relieve headaches, and more. This https://vidacap.com/capsules/sleep/ supplements has a wide spectrum of action and can relieve you of any pain, as well as help fight stress and depression. I myself did not believe until I checked it on myself!

It depends on the origin of the alopecia. Alopecia rooted in food allergy causes might see benefit from intermittent fasting. Non-food related alopecia (perhaps gene / inherited) may not see any benefit. With alopecia, it shouldn't be assumed that everyone's alopecia is from the same root cause. Even though the immune system is the likely culprit, what triggered the immune system response may be from differing conditions in different individuals.

I've run across doctors peddling long-term antibiotics to treat various conditions and I can say conclusively they are all quacks and should be regarded with a very high degree of suspicion. The kind of infections that can be treated with antibiotics are very easy to identify and have been for the last 100 years. Using antibiotics, which have powerful negative side effects on things like your gut health, to "treat" conditions like alopecia which don't involve identifiable infections is…

I’ve eaten in an intermittent fasting way since my late teens. I am glad that resolved issues for you, I ‘intermittently fast’ before it was ‘mainstream’, not to toot my own horn but only because I was a fat kid and got into disordered eating and excessive exercise to resolve it. That was pre-Alopecia.

I do think there is a ‘leaky gut’ element to all Alopecia in my opinion and these ‘rests’ give time for the gut to heal. I had AU at 19 and it resolved itself in 6 months. I found minoxidil and cutting out anything artificial and medicine (even advil) gave me remission until 23 years old.

it is an autoimmune disorder and I am so annoyed scientists are half in-half out on it. Frankly not enough research has been done and there should be a medicine or at least an affordable medicine to induce remission and control it. They have roaccutane for acne after all when most people get over it.

i still eat only between 2pm and 7pm but it has not resolved itself for now 8 years. I think it manifested through stress for me.
Exactly my thoughts! I've be…tag:alopeciaworld.com,2021-07-18:2022678:Comment:19469632021-07-18T13:44:41.614ZTuesdayhttps://alopeciaworld.com/profile/Tuesday

Exactly my thoughts! I've been eating healthy, exercising daily pretty much consistently since I was a teen - that was decades ago. Not only have I not had my hair return, I've gone on to develop a serious autoimmune condition that requires immunosuppressants. I still exercise, I still eat right and yes do the intermittent fasting - and similar to you - I feel good but I have NOT switched off my autoimmune conditions.

I find it a bit offensive too when others assume that we all eat toxic food and junk. Not all people enjoy fast food or processed food. I've not ever had an interest in eating garbage -just fresh plant - based foods but this predilection has done nothing to prevent my autoimmune conditions.
I believe you!
This. It's really a stretch to call eating 8 hours a day "fasting". Im 38, also played sports at a high level and am in very good shape. I've done both intermittent "fasting" and actual fasting (eating once every 24-72 hours) and it had no effect whatsoever on my AU. Fasting works, but not for Alopecia. I look great and feel great but I still don't have any hair.

I am on the Dr. Gundry lectin free diet. I was 110 pounds when I started and didn't want to lose weight, but I did and I am down to 98! Before I started the diet I fasted for 2 days, which makes eating better easier. For me it's a breeze because for 35 years I don't eat meat and I have eaten only organic whole foods with an occassional slip now and then.

I have non-scarring alopecia and have two areas in the front that are round wholes with no hair, but I have enough hair to cover them. I have always had beautiful hair and after 1 year with this, I finally cut it all off, but not shaven yet. The worst part of this is despite my health regiman and dedication to healing myself, nothing has changed the inflammation or the terrible itch!! Any suggestions?

I see you were on here in 2018, so hoping you will see this. I am new on here. ;)
