You might guess from my pic that I like horses. Just wondering how many folks on this site like to ride. BTW, Natalie started a group for Horse Lovers for those of us who just can't seem to get enough of our four legged friends.

I was just about to ask this question too!! I'm recently diagnosed and I always go to say 'Appaloosa' instead of Alopecia. ;-)
I love horses too. I have 3 of the little ferals. My family owns a cattle property and we run about 3000 head of cattle. Horses are amazing creatures and so smart!
I've loved these creaters as long as I can remember. I have four of them and there is no place id rather be than in the mountain ridin !!
Curious if any of you have heard of or been to Assateague Island? It is accessed by either Ocean City MD or Chincoteague Island VA. It PERFECT for horse lovers -- as there are about 300 wild horses that live on the island. I was there again this summer and the wild ponies are amazing to watch -- given they are wild you are not allowed to touch them or feed them as they can get territorial or aggressive.

We saw several "chillin" on the beach -- even saw a few rummage through unattended beach bags! ha! Actually saw a short lived fight between two of them!! One was just laying on the wet cool sand!! Really surreal.
