Hello All,

My daughter was diagnosed at the age of 10 with alopecia. As parents we want to fix everything wrong with our kids, but this was one thing I could not fix. We did research to find there was not much material for kids to educate/cope with the condition. I prayed and God gave me the vision to write a book. Hair In My Brush focuses on a young girl named Briana receiving the rare, yet difficult diagnosis of alopecia, where patches of hair continuously fall out. Hair is a part of many children's identity. Briana has to learn how to redefine her own identity, as she no longer has the hair she once knew. Through love, patience, and understanding, Briana and her mother embark together on a journey to show others who Briana truly is and can be: smart, beautiful, and capable of anything. No hair needed.

Thanks

Your book as well as others that help children with Hair Loss should be sold at the National Alopecia Conference. There are so many parents and children there it would be good for them to read to their children and share with the schools that their children attend to reduce bullying. I am sure you are aware of the organization National Alopecia Areata Foundation. Best wishes to you,
