Hi— I wore a Gemstress wig about 2 years ago— it lasted about a year. I switched salons and ordered another one this year—- the first one came in and after one wash was falling apart—- she took it back immediately and sent it back and ordered a new one—- but said if it happened again she can’t do anything about it.... well, the new one has come In. I have worn it for 3 weeks, once wash and it’s doing The same again. The hair is dry, no movement already and hair is falling out every time I wash it. $2509 and I’m so upset.  I have worn wigs for 20 years—- I can’t figire our what is going on or how to fix it:(  I’m so upset. Any thoughts?!?

Hi @lusha22 I have alopecia and wear gemtress wigs and I am a hairstylist and I just started selling them. Which one did you purchase ? Does it have a name they all have names! That sounds odd if it’s falling apart however I can say I have worn a lot of wigs one was around 4,000 (not gemstress) and it started falling apart in a wash washing is crucial ! After purchasing gemstress wigs from webpages and I relize now with being allowed to sell them they never gave me a really good Instruction how to wash so Here is what I was told what to do when washing I am going to post hope it helps!
