Hi all.

I have had alopecia Aretha now for 20 years. My hair seems to be pretty much grown back with the odd patch. However my eyebrows have never grown back. I had micro blading done 2 years ago on them and  now they have faded and looks silly. Tbh I was never happy with that drawn on effect look.

Has anyone on here had an eyebrow transplant? If so, do you  recommend it  and how much roughly is the procedure. I have briefly  looked online at abroad clinics and been tempered but think I want to be reassured with genuine reviews.

thank you in advance

If your eyebrow hair loss is due to alopecia then the chance of the hairs that are transplanted surviving is small. Your body is rejecting hair and if it is transplanted from one place to your eyebrows and that is where the follicles are inflamed then I do not believe they will hold. I am not a doctor but I do have a pretty good understanding of Alopecia and what the immune system does. I would be sure the clinic you speak with understands your situation.

The clinic cannot guarantee as you mentioned so probably wont go ahead. Must be something on the markwet out there for men's eyebrows. - Microblading and and tatoos in my opinion do not look realistic on men. Thanks for your input.

They were talking about eyebrow hair transplants on The Doctors this morning (1-27-20).  Maybe catch a rerun on cable or record.
