I say...We see life how we want and choose to! I choose to look for what's right and not for what's wrong! I hold fast to that which is good!!

That is ME! I always have to ...move forward...not staying stuck in the past!

I rarely read the news because it is too depressing for me and I believe it is way out of context and biased but I do pray alot for those in need!

Peace love and light to all in 2018  :))

Hi Lisa,

I couldn't agree with you more. I am fairly new to losing my hair, now 3 years. Still trying to adjust, but getting braver each day. i guess I feel that most people will talk about me for a few days and then move on to the next victim of gossip, oh well this is me and if you don't like it...move on, move on.

I think my story is different than others, not sure because i really don;t do the blog thing, but I received this email and decided to check it out and I would be willing to go on Dr Phil;s show if I knew what he would talk about before ...I would think that it would be discussed before the show..i don't think he would be that cruel to ridicule people like some are saying because it is a disease, and that would be just mean.

We do all have to accept who we are and God made us this way for a reason...don't get me wrong, it is a difficult thing to look at myself at times with a bald head but what can i do....NOTHING...people still love me and that is what I have to focus on...I am not going to let anyone make me feel any different ...I am beautiful, and a child of the most high....amen

Thank you dear for this reply!! Would you believe I am JUST NOW reading it ?!? Well, I don't get on here as much as I could! ;) Kepp being positive and looking for the good in all situations!! I am hoping I catch when this show is to be aired, as I don't stay very connected to the news etc.  Peace and love to ya!

Show aired one day this week.  It was only a short  segment after some other gusts.  There were no people with Aopecia.  He just talked a brief bit on what it was.

Hmmm, well, it did "stir" things up a bit in the Alopecia world. That is a let down to me as I am one that would have loved to see this exposed to more people.

I guess maybe they must have decided it wasn't a "big" enough topic...who knows?

I hear you.
